I have an Epson Stylus Photo printer, which I use for enlargements & greeting cards. The quality of my prints gradually deteriorated over the last 4 years. A friend from the Marin Photography Club recommended George, owner off GMS Lazerworks. He got to the bottom of the issue, spent hours/days adjusting, analyzing, striving until he reached perfection. He is not satisfied with less. Not only is my printer in top condition, making professional quality prints, but he charged me for cleaning only, not the additional hours of labor he invested. He is the most personable business owner I have met updating me on his progress and resolutions. In addition George couldn’t ask for anyone better than Julie, who greeted me so graciously. I’ll be taking all of my service needs there. Highly recommend GMS.
My printer was not prepared for Napa’s recent earthquake. It jumped off its stand and landed on its head. Miraculously it worked well, as a scanner. Printing was another story all together! Took the beast over to George and he had it up and running smoothly in no time. Thanks George, my business cannot stand any printer downtime.
I have been working with GMS for over a decade — maybe even more. George and Tom are THE BEST. Professional, efficient, they always seem to figure out the problem I am having and fix it quickly. I also order/exchange toner cartridges with them. It’s a great service and I don’t know what I’d do without them.
Not that I ever wanted my LaserJet’s duplexer to start jamming, but when it did it gave me an unexpected pleasure. Julie opened the door of the shop with a smile and reassured me that George would look at the printer as soon as he returned from a house call. By early the next day he had it repaired and ready to return, also with a smile and a friendly, expert view of the printer’s prospects: It is one of HP’s best but it’s getting old they’re not making replacement parts any more. “Any suggestions if I have to replace it?” I asked. The next day he emailed a couple of model numbers and specs. George’s business is service–superb service–not printer sales, so he had nothing to gain except my gratitude. Which he has, along with my complete confidence that if there is anything that can be done for an ailing printer, George will do it. He’s the best.
I have Used GMS for several years. The service is TIP-TOP and the pricing is excellent. I am not a large volume shop so the service aspect is of utmost importance. Saving a couple dollars on the cartridge is nice but the same day immediate service is awesome!
My Laser Printer died on the 16th of April at 3:00 am, I’m an Accountant! Found this company on-line, I emailed them to call me a.s.a.p. and that my main Laser Printer was down. I received an e-mail response stating we would have a tech out to my office by 9:00 am; my Laser printer was up and running by 9:45 a.m. Unbelievable Service!
It was 3:45 pm on a Friday afternoon when our HP 4345 mfp all in one printer went down with a massive paper jam. Spoke to a rep at GMS Lazerworks named Julie, got a technician out to us within an hour, and we finished our printing. Thanks GMS! Scott Osborn / Clover Products
My firm has been working with George and GMS Lazerworks for over 20 years. We are a CPA firm and tend to work 7 days a week during our busy tax season. Around 1990, we were working on a Sunday and our printer jammed. No matter what we did, nothing worked. I looked in the yellow pages and the only person that answered my call was George (at that time he was working out of the garage at his home). He came to our office, fixed our printer and the rest, as they say, is history. We get calls from people to buy their toners and that they will match whatever price we pay and I always tell them that I’ve been using the same company for over 20 years and I’m not changing. You know, sometimes it’s not about the money. George and his staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend them to anyone!!
I love GMS. George has always been straightforward with what the cost for repairs is going to be, he also has never steered me wrong with his advice of whether to fix or purchase a new unit. We will continue using GMS Lazerworks for years to come.
