GMS Lazerworks has been a “Green Business” since 1989. We have won several state “Wrap Awards” for reducing a significant amount of waste, while helping to protect the environment. We recycle thousands of toner cartridges each and every year.

In 1989, GMS Lazerworks owner, George Simmons, read an article in Entrepreneur Magazine on toner cartridge remanufacturing. Seeing an opportunity to provide a much-needed service to the San Francisco Area, George and his wife flew to Florida to get trained on the process. They subsequently learned printer repair, copier repair, scanner repair, fax machine servicing, and computer repair and service.
